All I Really Want For Christmas

With more and more celebrities becoming brands we asked what’s stopping a brand from becoming a celebrity? Enter a collab of with Grammy award winning Hip-Hop legend, Lil Jon and no award winning cultural icon Kool-Aid Man.

Did it work? Oh yeah. From strip clubs to classrooms this little jingle jangled.

TIKTOK #OhYEAHCHRISTMAS

The following Christmas, I wanted to impress my nephew on TikTok.

#OhYEAHChristmas trended, got billions of views, but didn’t make me any cooler.

Here’s how we made it happen.

Krashing Culture

After the success of Lil Jon, we wanted to krash culture and continue the momentum by showing up in authentic ways. Time for Kool-Aid Man’s epic return to gaming (he had an Atari game). Kool-Aid Man is working on his next kollab with another rising star in the gaming world.

Oh? Sour! Yeah!

One year’s product innovation for Kool-Aid was New Kool-Aid Sours. So, we crafted overly sweet scenarios and had the man do what he does best. Be an ancient golem of fun and flavor who is summoned only when you need him most and least expect him. We should get like a bunch of writers/illustrators to do real fake origin stories, that’d be fun.

OH YEAH, JULY 4th

Thanks to the liquid smooth pipes of our jovial jug, this little diddly that’s arguably more patriotic than clydesdales and hotdogs broke through on a day with a ton of noise and traffic.

Stories. Oh Yeah?

The day Instagram launched their question in stories was the day we tested if Kool-Aid Man could answer the world’s questions saying only Oh and Yeah.

STILL HERE?

Ask me about how me and KAM almost ended up at the Gathering of the Juggalos.
